District Inspectors
If you would like to talk to someone about a decision made by a DAMHS under the Mental Health Act, you can contact a District Inspector.
District Inspectors are lawyers appointed by the Ministry of Health to provide independent monitoring of the use of the Mental Health (CAT) Act 1992 and to investigate complaints related to the Act.
